- Underinflated tires decrease gas mileage by 1-2 mpg
- A dirty air filter decrease gas mileage by 2 mpg
- Worn spark plugs decrease gas mileage by 2 mpg
- Worn oxygen sensor decreases gas mileage by 3 mpg
- Dirty oil reduces gas mileage by 0.4 mpg (I thought this one would be higher)
- Loose gas cap reduces gas mileage by 2.0 mpg (Hum, I never thought about that one.)
